The Simple Design Co
The Simple Design Co is owned and run by Justin + Anita Stoltzfus. We live in Ohio with our two children, Jackson (3) and Kate (1). We love working together as a family in our office and getting to know a little bit about the people we meet with the projects we do.
Probably our main product is graphic design. Wedding invitations, birth announcements, birthday party invites, Christmas cards, and doing custom jobs our clients dream up that they can’t get anywhere else is a huge part of our job.
We also do some home decor pieces. Wooden handmade art pieces, photos mounted on wood, wooden magnetic hangers, memory plaques, wall tapestries and so much more.
It is our goal for each customer to walk away with excellent customer service and an excellent product.
White Hill Pottery
Hi, I’m Alison Hershberger. I live with Darrell and our five children in Baltimore, MD. Darrell and I started throwing pots ten years ago at a community college in Virginia. The experience was so wonderful that Darrell pushed through the odds to set up our own home studio. Over the years I took over the wheel and Darrell found how glazes work and go together. All of our glazes are created by him. He’s been the dreamer and pusher behind this whole adventure and has helped me discover skills I wouldn’t have thought possible in my earlier years. Our little hobby has turned into a business but continues to bring pleasure as each lump of clay takes shape and becomes a beautiful, functional piece.
Longing for permission to be real about your own needs and struggles?
As good Christian moms, we’re not supposed to ask for much. Jesus meets all our needs and we’re the light of the world to everybody else, right? Wrong.
Shari Zook appeared to be an overachieving supermom who deftly supported her pastor-husband and their congregation, homeschooled their children, and cared for foster children through the ups and downs of placements. But inside, her world was growing increasingly desperate as she struggled with the grief of miscarriage, parenting a difficult child, and spiraling depression.
In her darkest hour, Zook let go of her need to appear super-human and reached out to receive God’s unfolding grace. With humor and artistry, Peanut Butter and Dragon Wings gives us permission to step out from behind the appearance of rose-filtered perfection and embrace the authenticity of honest need and human limitations. In the book’s twelve chapters you’ll find twelve practical ways to reach for a faith that includes doubt, and holiness that includes failure.
Hi! I’m Amber Hurst, owner of Purely Bees. I make hand-poured, nontoxic beeswax candles in a variety of unique jars. I searched extensively for a truly nontoxic, clean ingredient candle and when I couldn’t find any, I decided to make them myself!
Beeswax is a great, health-friendly alternative to traditional paraffin and soy fragranced candles.
I hope you’ll come check out my shop and celebrate the simple with me!
